A new LEFORT Koloss 1300 TS for J C THOMAS & SONS LTD

J.C Thomas and sons ltd, loyal Lefort customers for the last 34 years, change their 10 year old Lefort Amazone 1250t for a New Lefort Koloss 1300T shear. A very similar machine in size but with many new features to give increased production and reduce maintenance time.

It still has the same highly proven, very large shear head weighing in at 90T, but also has a larger baling ram, full autolube system for the box, a much superior cabin and the latest Scania 600HP engines.

The Koloss 1300 TS model includes a window crosshead design to maximise surface area for the blade slide, reducing wear and downtime. The top and bottom blades are both fixed with hydraulic blade fixing system and the slideways are greased by a separate autolube system.
