J Davidson Welcomes in the Lefort Koloss 1300 TS

J Davidson, Altrincham based Scrap Metal Processor, goes to the next level with their latest acquisition, the
Mighty Lefort Koloss 1300 TS shear. Weighing in at nearly 220T the Koloss 1300 has one of the heaviest
shear heads in the range from the Belgian based manufacturer Lefort. The 1300T cutting capacity, paired
with the twin 600 HP diesel engine powerpack will give J Davidson a substantial increase in their processing
capabilities and is the 3rd machine of this size to be delivered to the UK this year.

A long standing customer of Lefort, Jamie Davidson, took delivery of his new machine earlier this year, as
part of a major yard redevelopment. It replaces a Koloss 1000 and is the 11th machine in his relationship
with Lefort which has lasted for over 25 years. We wish Jamie and his team all the best with their purchase
and the increased capacity of their new processing facility.
